i met my daddy's friend, 1sg edwards, yesterday. he and daddy have worked together in the army for a long time. he is leaving for iraq soon, but he came to see me first. it was neat to meet another real american hero besides daddy.

trimming the tree

putting up the christmas tree this year really took its toll on us.

giving thanks

boy oh boy, my first thanksgiving was exciting! ... not to mention delicious. we started off at titi jamie's where we ate puerto rican turkey with dressing, mayonaise potatos and rice. we had lots of fun and took some pictures around the tree.

then we went to nana and papa's and ate leftovers with them and uncle chip, ingrid, chase and cole and aunt christina, nathan and seth.

we also celebrated aunt christina's birthday (which is really tomorrow. happy birthday, aunt christina!) here's a blurry picture of her blowing out her candles with a little help from seth.

up to speed

hi! my name is hannah lynn. i was born tuesday, october 30, 2007 at 1:02 pm after being squished and twisted in my mommy's belly for seventeen hours. i weighed 6 lbs 12 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long.

i surprised everyone because i was ten days early, but mommy and daddy were just happy that i wasn't born on halloween and they didn't have to name me "spooky" instead of hannah. the trick or treaters, however, were not so happy since we couldn't give them any candy this year.
